Well, I had this idea about how people can see sounds by the way of music and ordinary thing that is used within our daily lives. My theory came from N.E.R.D.'s latest album Seeing Sounds. I loved the story behind the album and used the same theory from a artist's mind like myself. I used the same qualities as of a musician and dancer would use as when they hear music. The term of "seeing sounds" is called "Synaesthesia". It's when you can envision a sound with a color that can only be triggered in your brain. I used my cousin and incredible dancer Jian Pierre-Louis as my model. I hope you guys like it. It's a spread.... yessir!!!!!!

He's very easy going when it comes to getting ideas out for this project... he loved my use of color and design. Also, the subject matter was very important to him as for his album.

Hey everyone, I'm sorry that I haven't been updating lately...
Life just got a little bit more interesting. I'm working with Omarion, the R&B singer and friend of mine, with his new album and other projects. I've been super busy with that, school and also on some new shirt designs for Natures Mistake.

Finals of The Portraits

so... I added a few more elements to these pieces and found out that these can be published right on the spot if I play my cards right. These can probably be in VIBE or the Source Magazines... I'm really humbled by the remarks that everyone has given me. I enjoy playing around with color and content alot..... so, here's the finals of the two pieces.

Silkscreening is so much fun, with methods that are reasonable to deal with.... it's soooooooooooooooooo interesting of what can happen with the results.

So I was going for something different from what I'll usually approach to... I wanted something out of the box... But, it's also contained in a box... haha
